Because Every Person's Journey Matters

Real People. Real Recovery. Real Revival.

Recovery is more than a private journey—it’s a shared triumph. At Revival for Recovery, we believe in the power of women’s stories to uplift, connect, and spark the kind of hope that changes lives. Here are just a few voices from our community:

Ali’s encounter

I first met Kerry when I was a patient at Harbor of Grace. She greeted me with the biggest hug after seeing how terrified I was to be there. After my 28 day stay, I asked her to be my sponsor  we began to work through the steps together. She had me share a gratitude list with her and her sponsee sisters as well which helped hold me accountable. Kerry introduced me to the community in recovery. She has such a huge involvement in recovery especially with her start up of Revival for Recovery. Knowing Kerry has allowed me to be a part of a handful of events. I’m forever grateful that our paths crossed back in June of 2023.

Bridget’s Journey

When I got to homecoming I was ready for my life to drastically change and I was willing to finally put the work in on myself. Kerry was my peer recovery specialist and she helped me navigate getting to dentist appointments, finding clothes that fit me, and also rides to meetings. Throughout my sobriety she has been someone I can count on and we have a great friendship today. She does amazing work for the recovery community and I am so glad God put her in my life.

Paige’s Story

A source of support during challenging times.

I arrived at a rehabilitation facility in an entirely different state, feeling frightened and

isolated, believing I was confronting my difficulties alone.

Upon hearing Kerry share her experience, I realized that I was not as alone as I had

thought.

At my lowest point, she recognized my struggle and kindly extended her support to me.

As my time in rehabilitation was drawing to a close, I expressed reservations about the

proposed aftercare program, which spanned an entire year and appeared daunting.

Without the wisdom, honesty, and compassion that Kerry offered, it is difficult to

envision what might have transpired.

My sobriety date is July 4, 2023.

“One day at a time.”
